Spline Patch 2.0 In addition to improvements of the calculation algorithms and the user interface, the new version provides lots of new features. With the new Patch Creator you'll create spline patch objects with just one mouse click. Moving the cursor will show up a preview of possible patch surfaces. One of the most relevant new features are the three-sided spline patches. Since Tri-Patches are made of triangles, a very consistent polygon structure comes up. Using graphes you will now have more control over the grid. Thus, you are able to specifically increase subdivisions for regions, that require a higher resolution. The edge profiles will now be applied not until welding the single patches in the Multi Patch. This way optimises the workflow and fix the problem of the predecessor version welding adjacent edge profiles. Additionally, you may now define custom edge profiles using spline objects.
